Davey Verduyn was born and raised in West Flanders. He began his career as a carpenter, where he developed a strong foundation in craftsmanship and material knowledge. After several years of hands-on experience, he pursued Industrial Design at Howest, Kortrijk, further refining his skills in design thinking and innovation.
Following his studies, he founded Verduyn Studio. His design philosophy centers on how spaces feel and function, with a strong appreciation for the raw honesty and bold forms of brutalist design. From his workshop in the heart of Passendale, he creates furniture that merges clean, modern lines with a timeless sense of strength and authenticity.
